Spencer the waiter and the manager lady i didn't catch her name were the definition of the hospitality industry. We had a couple hiccups from the kitchen but it was still a 5 star dinner with the quality of their service. Best service of anywhere around.

Let’s see drinks were good but draft beer and house margaritas are hard to mess up. Caesar salad way over dressed, and crab cake was crispy on the outside side and raw and doughy in the middle. Pretty slow Thursday night for all of these problems. It was our 35 wedding anniversary weekend and we had planned to stay longer and order entrees and dessert but had to leave after these issues. We saw several people send back drinks and food and thought they were just picky but we were mistaken. 90 bucks later and with tip 106 we left. I don’t feel that we should have to pay for poor service and bad food. What do you think??

To celebrate our anniversary of 14 years, we couldn’t have picked the right spot and area to visit. The Pappadeauxs restaurant off of north loop 410 gave us the ultimate experience. The server Spencer started everything off with his outstanding service. He had a wonderful attitude set the tone for us to feel at home as well as making sure everything was fresh and made to perfection. To kick off the rest of the night, the manager Armando sent us off with a warming anniversary cheese cake as well as the both of them putting a smile on my wife’s face making her feel wonderful on our special day. THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE AMAZING SERVICE.

I placed an online order today and came inside to pick it up since several cars were already waiting and no one had come out. Unfortunately, when I got my order home, I was very disappointed with the quality of my meal. • My Salmon Alexander had very little protein or sauce, and there were no scallops at all. • The Dirty Rice was not fully cooked. • My baked potato was only half done. • The Key Lime Pie did not taste fresh. This was especially disappointing because I had been looking forward to this meal, and it’s the first time I’ve had an issue with a to-go order from your restaurant. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that steps can be taken to improve consistency for future orders. Please let me know how this situation can be addressed. Sincerely, Melinda Sutton

My wife and I recently had a late lunch at the famous Pappadeaux near North Star Mall, and we left extremely disappointed. The complimentary bread was the first red flag. It was hard, crumbly, and nearly impossible to cut without falling apart, almost as if it had been toasted and left out too long. The gumbo was equally underwhelming. It was watery and completely lacking in flavor, a far cry from the rich, savory taste we have enjoyed in the past. Unfortunately, the grouper and giant crab were no better. Both dishes were bland and uninspired. Having visited New Orleans and other Louisiana locations and indulged in some of the best Creole cuisine, I can confidently say Pappadeaux is definitely not true Creole cuisine. The new menu and overall quality of the food simply are not what they used to be. For a restaurant with such a strong reputation, this visit was a huge letdown. I give this location a 1 star and will not be returning anytime soon.
