this place is double or triple the price of places that are twice as good as they are. The food is mid at best no flavoring no seasoning Hardly. I’m from Louisiana and I’m from the New Orleans area. Expecting to have some flavor, but it didn’t happen here. The red beans and rice was probably the worst red beans and rice I’ve ever experienced at any Cajun restaurant I’ve ever been to. Very watery and no flavoring. I went here just expecting to have great food because it was so expensive. I thought that must be why it’s so expensive because it’s so much better but that was not true whatsoever. First and last time for sure. But at the end of the day, I we will say the service was very good and the atmosphere was nice. It was the food that was very, very, very lacking.

‼️Hands down Pappadeauxs is my favorite‼️Never a dull moment at Pappadeauxs‼️What I enjoyed most about the experience is how helpful our waiter was. I love the Mississippi blackened catfish Opellousas but I have a shrimp allergy. She referred me to a similar option which did not have shrimp in the sauce. The atmosphere is always pleasant and enjoyable in Pappadeauxs. It is my favorite restaurant‼️
Wow! I finally tasted the World Famous Pappadeaux and I did not think nothing was memorable! The young ppl deserve to work but the distractions will have you not attended to and left to go ask for your own condiments or never coming back. I tasted everything from grilled oysters to seafood pasta, stuffed crab shrimp and crawfish dip. The stuffed shrimp was the best! The seafood pasta sauce has this sauce that stay on the back of tongue.

My husband is 100 percent DISABLED and I have my own military discount card with a picture stating he's 100 percent disabled.I was told of he's not there it can't be use . A different person came and made it right but my question to corporate would be if he's disabled how come with the proper IDENTIFICATION THE discount isn't applied 😕 so u don't value ALL veterans just the ones that are capable of coming to sit down at your establishment. Very disappointed in this policy because THIS WAS A government ISSUE VALID CARD TO HELP WITH THE VETERANS NEEDS AND THIS LOCATION IS THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS DONE THIS. ASKING FOR THE VETERANS THAT CANT LEAVE HOME AND SPOUSES HAVE IDENTIFIED THEM SELF.

What in the PappaNation is going on?! My family and I pulled up to Pappadeaux ready to wrestle a plate of gator and catfish. Mouths waterin, spirits high… only to find out the menu had been snatched up and reworked.
Now, we didn’t mind the price adjustment—that comes with the times—but what we did mind was the gator being turned into “Hot Honey with Peanuts.” 🐊🍯🥜 Who in the test kitchen said, “Yeah, that’s the move”?
Listen, hot honey is for chicken ONLY! 😂 Who thought it was a good idea to make the bites smaller, raise the price, and then sprinkle peanuts on top like that was the missing piece?
Now I will say it again for the people in the back 😬. Not only is it more expensive, but the gator bites shrank faster than my patience. At this point, just take it off the menu and bring it back when y’all bring back the shrimp & grits (since they sharing the same sauce anyway).
We came hungry, left confused. Pappadeaux, we love you, but stop playing with our gator feelings! 🐊🍯🥜
