Yummy! This place doesn’t disappoint and is definitely worth a visit. The service was great and the food was awesome. The drinks and dessert are nice also. They was doing construction on the exterior when I went so be aware of that. I really liked the background music they have here. If you want some good southern food you must definitely come here. Prices and portions are good.

The food is a bit expensive (including the lunch menu), however, overpaying for the mixed seafood grill w/house salad substitute (that I had to pay extra for bc the cajun rice was too spicy for me) was almost worthy because it was DELICIOUS!!! I would be remiss if I didn't share the AMAZING dining experience we had w/Mia...she was so good that I returned an twice before packing up and leaving for the east coast, but unfortunately, she wasn't there either time. She was GREAT! Full of spunk, recommendations & patience. Table side manner & genuine interest/care in what she did, was TOP-NOTCH, something I missed while in AZ for 2 years. Thanks, Mia! If ever in Phoenix again, I will definitely stop by, hopeful she's working.

Compared to last time when we visited, we were kind of disappointed. We only came in for a snack, so had gumbo in two versions. The garlic bread we ordered with it arrived just before we finished the dish ( thanks to Geraldine we had got a regular bread in between - no comparison to the garlic bread though ). The gumbo itself was 'okay' 🤷🏽‍♀️, maybe we are just spoiled.... ? Well, about 20 $ for a 'bowl' of soup that seemed more like a cup and not extremely Cajun ..... But : Thank you for your friendly and efficient service, Geraldine !

Top 2% filets in the nation!!! This means its as fresh as seafood can get here ladies and gentlemen, as well as the highest of quality! Throw in perfected Caujin (family owned) recipes! And I do not exaggerate when I say the best restaurant staff around from top to bottom! You can see right into the kitchen as if they are daring you to find a discrepancy for goodness sakes! I personally love the confidence and vibe EVERY single staff member brings to the table, this tells me that Phoenix Arizona deserves this Cajun seafood kitchen experience!! For benevolence I will disclose that I am bias in this review. I have been eating at Pappaudeaux's all over the united states since 1999. I didn't grow up near the ocean and nerver tasted Cajun cooking growing up. My first experience my friend in Dallas TX invited me to enjoy some Cajun battered crawl fish!!!! To put it simple i crave it now. Than it began, ive pleasured myself with most of the (family owned) menu for decades, from Texas to Albuquerque! There are many treasures on this menu. Yeah..im hooked privately, I didn't realize it was so bad until i started to write this review. I suppose I'll finally get a chance to admit my addiction of Pappadeaux's Cajun Seafood Kitchen publicly in hopes that this is a right step in conquering my addiction. Wait?! I digress. Trust me on this one ☆ Personal advice: Save up $ so you can dine like a king, such services are not cheap in Louisiana so why would it be cheap in Arizona? Be mindful and make this a special time on the calendar of life! Lunch, dinner or even a special event.

This place was amazing. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable. The staff was awesome and the food was out of this world. Our server David was so helpful and attentive. This was a birthday dinner gift from my mom to myself and husband. Our birthdays are on the same day and we both got an individual dessert on the house. Amazing! The bread was brought first and was really good. Had the hot honey alligator bites appetizer and they were really good. I’ve never tried alligator. Then a side of jumbo shrimp to have with the meal. I got the fillet mignon Oscar with lump crab and white wine sauce with the manchego (Spanish manchega sheep milk cheese) mashed potatoes and broccolini. It melted in my mouth. My husband had the aged ribeye with the same potatoes but got the dirty rice. David gave us a sample to try just to make sure we liked it and it was delicious. I picked the homemade strawberry cheesecake with strawberry drizzle and my husband got the banana pudding in a jar. Phenomenal desserts. There is not one single thing we didnt like. We stuffed ourselves and got the rest to go home. We have enough for dinner tonight in leftovers. I can’t wait to go try again and this time we will try some other stuff and be a little daring. My son is a fish eater so hoping we can take him with us next time. It was expensive but honestly it was all so worth it. I would highly recommend this place for top notch food. Thank you David for your suggestions and help. Next time we visit we will ask to sit in your section.
