The first photo is how it used to be served (absolutely incredible!) and the second photo is how it is served now (a very sad change and terrible presentation). Usually dishes get better as time goes on, not worse. I'm very disappointed - it was my favorite dish. It's not the same. On another note, I learned I always had to get my food to to-go because the noise in the restaurant is unbearable. I love live music, but this restaurant isn't set up for it. The acoustics are terrible. Also, they just play any music way too loud. You will not be able to talk to anyone you're with, while at the same time hearing everyone else and you may leave with a headache. Maybe they have improved things since the last time I was there but after giving several chances over a long period of time, I've realized I just can't eat there and enjoy a meal. Panzu - plz let me know if you've resolved this issue. 🙏🏼

Because I'm a garlic lover, they were perfect. The drink was good too. The bar tender made it perfectly with a blend of coconut, rum and light ice. I would recommend Panzu if you're interested in taking a drive outside of the city center of Charlotte.

The food has gone down a lot, the tostones don’t taste fresh and are unedible. Would love to go back, if I knew it would be like before.

Drinks (mock or real), apps, mains - talk to your server and they'll steer you in the right direction. Tell them your spice tolerance but challenge yourself. Some places hide bland flavor behind hot spice; Panzu does not.
