Panera Bread is a great place for soups and salads and they have a great bakery section. Good menu variety, but they run out of items, specially bakery goods more than I would like, how can a bakery run out of baguettes, this would never happen in France, fun fact: it's against the law to run out of baguettes in France! The prices are a little high, but we still go to Penera often.

The lady taking orders at drive thru right now Thursday 9/25 9:21 pm. first she was trying to get or sodas with a broken machine more thank half full of water, then she went to fill out soup or dippers with out gloves with another container disposable container, smelt it and throw it away like smells bad. Never watch her hands. After handling anything else. Unfortunately we had to ask for a refund ,she started mocking making fun . That its unsanitary to say the least.

Walked in there was a young lady at the counter did not make eye contact or greet me ever I finally walked up to her, and she still did not make eye contact greet me that I looked at the display case still no I can contact our greeting. This whole time she was taking selfies of herself. Finally, I announced my presence and asked for something from the display case and a coffee cup. No communication was made other than to ring me out and hand me my cup. I did not get the feeling that she was annoyed with my presence, but I certainly didn’t get the feeling that she was pleased with my presence at All. Being in Customer Service this was definitely not great. I visited at 11:30 AM on Sunday morning. September 21, 2025. I continued to the coffee dispensary where there was no coffee. I made this aware to the same person and she said aren’t any of the other coffees there? And I want dark roast. There is a selection for a reason. Also, during all of this there was almost nobody at the store, so no reason this couldn’t have been checked before my arrival. I guess I’m just used to how well the Panera on 21st St. in Norfolk is right.

Complete Failure of Catering Service and Communication I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the handling of a crucial catering order for a business meeting of 30 people. Despite proactively calling the morning of our event to confirm, the experience devolved into a cascade of failures: Conflicting Information: I was first told the order was ready but couldn't be delivered due to a power outage. After I offered to pick it up, I was then told delivery was on its way. No Delivery & No Communication: Two hours after the scheduled delivery time, the order had still not arrived. No one from the store called to provide an update. Cancellation Without Notice: It was only after I called the store that I was informed the order had been completely canceled. Had I not called, we would likely still be waiting. Unavailable Management: When I asked to speak with the manager to understand what happened or find a solution, I was told they were 'too busy with an electrician' to speak with me. The initial power outage is understandable. What is unacceptable is the complete breakdown in communication, the conflicting stories, and the total lack of accountability. We were offered zero solutions, leaving 30 professionals without their scheduled meal and forcing us to scramble for a last-minute alternative. This reflects very poorly on the Panera brand. I cannot recommend this location for any catering needs.

Very disappointed. Maybe if we had gone through the drive through or ordered take out , I could overlook some inconsistencies. We had to warm up our own bakery items in a microwave under the drink counter. Maybe that’s a Panera thing? The floors were so wet that I couldn’t allow my toddler to walk without fear of falling. Honestly, not just wet, almost like someone had mopped the floors with oil. I didn’t fall, but resorted to sliding my feet for fear of falling while pregnant with my toddler. Crumbs and finger prints all over the bakery glass. My cinnamon crunch bagel tasted like onions. Yes, it looks pretty inside, but the genuine lack of effort across the board was very obvious.
