Without asking anything, he offered a small complimentary item to apologize for the wait. Not necessary but greatly appreciated!

I pulled up and asked what time they closed as there was a lady in the window. The employee told me, “Whenever the drive-thru screen is off.” I mentioned that their posted hours online say 9 PM and asked if they were closing earlier now. She hesitated and replied, “Technically yes, but we just close whenever we want to—usually around 8:15-8:30. Our kitchen is currently closed,” and then shut the window. This is extremely frustrating. If the store isn’t open until 9 PM, the hours online should reflect that. I wasn’t looking for a full menu—just wanted to grab a few pastries for a work meeting. Instead, my time was wasted, and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
