"Our recent luncheon at Panera Bread proved to be a profoundly disappointing experience. We noted a conspicuous dearth of dessert selections upon our arrival. The cashier neglected to request our telephone number, and we were compelled to remind them of the 50% dessert discount associated with our 'You Pick Two' order. The food was presented lukewarm and exhibited substandard preparation; my tuna sandwich, intended to be toasted, was presented soggy and excessively garnished. My daughter's sandwich and macaroni and cheese were similarly lukewarm. We observed employees disregarding fundamental hygiene protocols, such as improper hat usage and a failure to sanitize hands, and noted numerous instances of order discrepancies affecting other patrons. The tea dispenser was non-functional, and our order was erroneously designated 'to go' rather than 'dine in.' Manager Jonathan offered apologies and complimentary desserts, yet the available selections were limited. Following our meal, we addressed our concerns regarding the food with the manager, who reiterated his apologies and authorized a full refund. He attributed the issues to newly hired staff requiring further training. We emphasized the observed lapses in hygiene, including inadequate hat usage and a manager with exposed long hair handling food, and stressed the necessity of comprehensive training on cross-contamination and handwashing. The dining area featured chairs left askew, posing a potential hazard, and the beverage station was in a state of disarray. In summation, our dining experience was far from satisfactory."
