I visited Panera on Wednesday November 5 the Winston Churchill branch with group of friends as we usually do
The cashier was not pleasant at all, she was taking my order while talking to other customers on the side ( twice) , I was asking questions to make sure that my food is aligned with my beliefs , I was not asked if I wanted medium or big bowl of salad, I was not given a receipt until I asked for it, and I was not given a cup for coffee until I asked for one ( I think she had a bad day)
The kitchen stuff were shouting loudly calling for the customer’s names to pick their food ( it was out loud and noisy as if calling in the street) which shouldn’t be done in a reputable place like Panera
Thank you
Love Panera Bread and have been coming here for years, but my recent visits have been disappointing. I always order the group soup and know what to expect — but this time it was barely half full. For $30, I’d expect a proper portion, plus cups and spoons for takeout. I also had to remind the staff about the bread. Tried calling the store several times, but no one picked up.
Hoping things get back to the great Panera experience I’ve always known!

First time at panera and had the French dip. It was the best I have ever had. Great coffee selection. It's more a cafeteria than a restaurant so no service except for ordering.

Absolutely ridiculous, tiny portion for a “bowl” of soup. We paid $42 for two alleged bowls of soup, two half sandwiches and two fountain drinks. I cannot imagine how minuscule a “cup” would have been. I asked for them to top up the bowl and they told me “no, this is our standard size” to which I said “for who? A little kid? A 3 year old?” And it was 80% broth. Total #1 BS.

Panera Bread delivers exactly what you'd expect - a step above typical fast food, but don't go in expecting to be wowed. I tried the chipotle chicken avocado melt and it was... fine. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing memorable either.
It's a solid option when you want something quick that feels slightly healthier or more substantial than a burger joint, but the food itself is pretty average. The atmosphere is pleasant enough for a casual meal or grabbing lunch, just don't expect any culinary surprises.
If you are looking for convenience and consistency, Panera fits the bill. If you are looking for something that'll actually excite your taste buds, you might want to keep looking.
