    Subject: Racist & Disrespectful Experience at Panera Bread 29th Street Boulder Dear Panera Bread Management, I’m writing to share a disappointing experience my wife and I had during our recent visit to your 1855 29th St, Boulder, CO 80301 store on 10/22/2025. When we placed our order, the young woman at the counter was very pleasant. She asked whether we wanted apple and baguette sides for our two meals and also offered us chips that come with the full-size orders. We appreciated her kindness and tipped well. However, when our food was ready, the tall gentleman who was calling out orders handed us our meals without the chips. When I politely went back to ask for them, he told me we had already received our apple and baguette and gave me just one bag of chips. The tone and manner in which he handled this felt dismissive and disrespectful. What made the situation worse was that his attitude made me feel unwelcome — as if I were being treated differently because of my background. I’m an American citizen, but in that moment, I felt like an outsider. No customer should ever feel that way. I returned the apple, baguette, and the chips and left feeling very disappointed. I hope this employee receives appropriate training on customer service and cultural sensitivity, so other guests do not have a similar experience. Thank you for taking this seriously.     Have you noticed that the Boulder Panera puts their soups in plastic bags then into the inserts on the steam table?? (!!) Gag a magot!! I've worked is many restaurants over the years + have NEVER seen this done. Once I learned this, I decided NEVER to order soup from Panera again. In my world, heating soups + sauces in plastic bags is a HUGE no-no. Lord Help Us All!

    Carrie got our order wrong and gave us frozen food, was super rude, and then when we had an item from the order dropped to the floor said it was “customer error”

    Pathetic.. always good when eating at the restaurant, but ordered two chicken noodle soups which was essentially only chicken broth.. no chicken and 2 pieces of noodles.. was supposed to get a mini baguette and instead received two tiny pieces of sourdough thrown in the bottom of the bag 🤣

    09/04/2025 @ ~4:00pm - Avoid this location! I was physically threatened by a transient/junkie, when trying to enter one of the bathrooms but I didn't have the code. After asking for the code from the the front counter, I tried to use the alternate bathroom. Once in that bathroom, I was confronted by the same individual! He followed me in there! Security was called, but all they did was "talk" to him. I tried to eat, but was in fear of being blind-sided by this individual. I think corporate needs to know about this one.
