- JVJackie Velez1 day ago2.0My recent experience at Panera was extremely disappointing. The portion sizes were noticeably smaller than they used to be, especially considering the price. I paid a premium for what felt like a half-serving. I also ordered a latte that was $7 and it tasted like plain milk — no coffee flavor, no color, nothing, and it was more expensive than a gallon of milk. My friend ordered the Pick 2, and his meal literally looked like a kids meal and it was ridiculously overpriced. He did not feel satisfied with his meal and was still hungry even after he finished his food. To be clear, this had nothing to do with the staff — they were polite, fast, and did their jobs well. The problem is with the company itself. Panera’s quality and portions have gone downhill while prices keep going up. Definitely not worth it anymore — I won’t be coming back.

I haven’t had this issue during the weekday, but when I told them I wouldn’t order from here if I knew the wait would be so bad on a Saturday at lunch they said: we had so many back to back orders, 15. I would hope this Panera would have the capacity to be able to serve 15 customers back to back.
