- ENEric NealOct 7, 20251.0I am quite disappointed with this Panera Bread. My friend and I went there, and I went inside to get a green tea drink and a snack. Everything was fine, and the employees were friendly. My friend is new to the area and walked around the outside of the property, getting some video of the building and talking about its history. He was on PUBLIC property. An employee came out and told him to leave (again, public property) or she’d call the police. He said no, and she called. The Plaistow police were very professional and said he was doing nothing wrong. Then, as we were leaving, the employee kept coming out to her car to watch us. It was bizarre! Aside from my prior good service, Panera Bread should learn that they can’t kick someone out of a public area, and cameras (which they have in and on their building) isn’t going to hurt them.
