- MBMarsha BurkettAug 28, 20254.0I used to really like Panera’s scones. I just now ate one today. It said orange scone. The only orange was the color & flavoring of the big amount of frosting on it. Scones are traditionally a bit dense & on the dry side. This scone fell apart like a moist fluffy cake. Too much butter & egg? Why has the recipe changed? I’m really disappointed. I DO still like their salads however & yes - I agree with the above review - that their prices are quite high!
