  My family and I have eaten at Panera Bread locations throughout the Southeast, and we generally enjoy the food very much. In fact, when we moved to Jacksonville in 2022, one of the franchises we looked for first was Panera Bread. The location that is closest to our home is on Roosevelt. Unfortunately, this restaurant does not live up to the franchises' reputation.

  The manager Lisa was absurdly combative and argumentative because I needed a receipt when the lady took an order and did not issue me a receipt and no change back. Deplorable leadership.

  I ordered a balsamic, green and grain salad. I repeated the order to the cashier three different times.. And I also pointed it out to her what I wanted. When my order was ready I checked it and it was wrong. I took it back and stated that it was wrong. The cook stated that they didn’t sell the salad I ordered. I pointed it out on the menu. The manager came to the front and I pointed it out to her. So she took a picture of it and the salad was made. When I picked the salad up I was told by the manager that the cashier thought I was asking for balsamic dressing. I told her that I repeated my order to her 3 times . Then the manager told me next time explain it a little better. I was so out done after that. I have never had an experience like that with them I order that salad all the time.
