This is one of my favorite places right now. Love the food and the price is reasonable.

First time walking into this spot, and let me just say—what an experience! I came in to try the oxtails, and they did not disappoint. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, flavorful, and not overly fatty. Paired with the Jamaican rice, which was soft and fluffy, it was perfection. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff shows true hospitality, making you feel right at home. I also tried one of their Jamaican drinks—refreshing and packed with flavor, definitely a must-have! The empanadas with spiced meat had just the right kick to balance everything out. If I had one small critique, it would be the plantains—I think if they made them fresh to order, it would take them to the next level. Overall though, this place is a gem in Oceanside. Pricing is fair, portions are generous, and the food quality is phenomenal. For me, it’s a strong 9.2/10 and an easy 5/5 stars. If you’re craving authentic Jamaican food, this is THE spot to check out!

This place is such a gem. Delicious cooking, wonderful owners and staff, and always a low key dance party inside. Goat curry is exceptional, as is the coconut curry chicken, escovitch fish, and jerk chicken. Collard greens, mango salsa...rice is on point. Man, I'm headed back rn.
