The changed the flavor of everything and not a fan of the changes. Salsa changed for worse, queso changed for worse, beans and rice tasted reaĺly bad. Used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but based on this last visit I am pretty much done with it. Other then beans and rice being really bad it wasnt horrible, but it isnt something i would crave eating anymore. Gonna see if the one closer to me has changed everything. Hopefully I can swing by one more time and have the flavor I loved.

My girlfriend and I stopped in at On The Border and had some killer shrimp, tacos, and burritos. The food hit the spot, but what made the night stand out was the service. Edgar took great care of us—on point, attentive, and just solid all around.
Big respect to Niki, the manager, too. It’s clear she runs a strong team, and Edgar’s service showed it. Appreciate the great experience—we’ll definitely be coming back to the Valley Ranch OTB 🌮

Ordered a kids chicken taco for my son which came with beans and rice according to the menu but got fries. Asked our waiter and he stated he assumed he wanted fries. I told him he wanted beans and rice. Waited for quite a while and asked him again about the rice and beans and finally got them. After we paid our bill, we were getting our things ready and our waiter decided to bus our table while we were still at the booth. I felt rushed because as I was gathering our things he came into the opposite side of the booth and started bussing it while I was still sitting in the booth. I might understand if it was busy and they needed the booth but they were not busy.

My server, Edgar, was great! He had a thorough knowledge of the menu and was professional, polite and best of all, attentive!! I am a long time fan of OTB! I wish there was one closer to where I live!
I’m from Oklahoma and used to ask to eat at On The Border every Friday in the 90s. It was always packed with a wait!
The past few years, as ownership changed, locations started getting run-down, ghetto and food quality was not the same! As a result, I stopped eating there.
I heard Pappas bought them, so I decided to come back and try it.
I am ALL FOR changes such as cleaning the restaurants, improving the facilities and switching back to Coca-Cola!
That said, I used to LOVE their queso and salsa. The salsa I got was totally different in a bad way! It was served warm and was watery!
The best part about OTB was the chunky texture of the salsa that coated the chips. You could taste the freshness & the spice from the peppers and onions! Now it’s totally gone & I don’t eat warm salsa!
Please be warned if you go here that the “signature” items that made OTB famous (the chips, queso & salsa) are not the same! I will not be back unless they switch it back - at least have the “original” as an option!
