  Managers evidently don't speak to each other and give out different rules then accost and threaten you when you don't know which one to follow. I was given 2 different timelines and when I tried to explain this I was cut off repeatedly after being cornered by the landlord. She refused to hear anything at all, was extremely rude and dismissive.

  I’m very happy to find this unit.Also there are two kind superintendent Priscilla and Barbara that help me a lot and I appreciate of them.

  I've taken a long look at my experience at Oliver place. While there were some issues related to bar noise and rent increases, it was an overall decent place to call home. (My rating is based on the building and not the current issues noted below) The staff here was great, Barbara and Joe thanks for what you did for the community. As well the building was always kept reasonably clean. The negatives: Bar noise/Late night noise: (FYI this building is directly above a bar) There is also a nightclub directly across Jasper Ave. Depending where you are in the building it can cause substantial issues with sleep. Jasper Ave construction sidewalks/roadwork: Ongoing roadwork for the next few years including directly in front of the building. Could make commuting more challenging and limit potential route options. Centurion's apparent need to raise rents substantially every year. This had led a number of long and short term tenants to leave for cheaper units elsewhere. Units will get warm/hot in the summer as it has no AC (Portable AC has allowed when I left) Overall remarks and advice, for prospective tenants *While this building is in an overall great location there are downsides to that location. *I urge future renters to come by the building late at night to see if it's too loud. *If you're a soft sleeper, look at units on the backside of the building.

  This place — and the people working here — have been incredible! We’re truly sad to be moving out due to work commitments. From day one, the experience has been smooth and welcoming. Barbara, Priscilla, and even Joe were nothing short of exceptional — always helpful, accommodating, and responsive. You can tell they genuinely care about the residents. Any concerns we had were addressed quickly and with kindness. The building itself is clean, well-maintained, and in a great location. We always felt safe and comfortable here. It really felt like home. What made it even more special was that we held our wedding reception here — something we’ll always treasure. This place holds such beautiful memories for us. If you’re considering moving in, we absolutely recommend it. You’ll be well taken care of. Thank you again to the whole team — we’re so grateful!

  I spent a few years here as a tenant, and it was an amazing experience. Barbara and Priscilla are wonderful human beings, as well as the contractor and maintenance teams are super speedy and kind in their responses. They care deeply for their residents, and I personally can attest to how seriously and diligently the team at Olicer Place works to ensure the building is safe, warm, and welcoming. A great place to stay for anyone looking for easy access to parks, grocery stores, views of the river and city are unmatched on both sides of the building. The gym, always clean and seeing your neighbours lift and workout is motivating. They do events throughout the year for the residents, as community and ''de-stressing'' from the outside world is a mantra the team strives to manifest every day.
