Always a great meal. Not to mention the staff is always friendly as well. We service many of your neighbors' grease traps and would love to add y'all to the list! Cheers.

Old Thousand is a standout — their Mala Fried Chicken packs a punch, and the Brisket Fried Rice (with Chinese sausage) is a creative, hearty twist you won’t forget. I also loved the Jalapeño Popper Rangoons and their Salt & Pepper Shrimp — crispy, vibrant, and just the right amount of heat. The ambiance balances vintage Chinese takeout nostalgia with modern flair (plush booths, warm lighting, hip hop playing softly in the background), and the staff were enthusiastic and eager to help with the menu. It’s one of those places where you want to linger and try everything next time.

Came here with a large group! The atmosphere was really cool! I felt like I wasn’t in Austin for the entire moment I was there. It gives east coast New York kinda vibes. With the lighting, and the energy! The smells of the kitchen, the sounds of the hot WOK.. pretty cool spot! The drinks were awesome, the food is really REALLY good! Like it’s FANTASTIC. They have a cool bar with plenty of seating, and the restaurant has awesome decor throughout. The staff seems really nice and chill as well. They took care of all of our needs, as we were rolling like 12 deep that evening.

This place is DELICIOUS!! We went here for dinner on a Monday night. Tuesday we tried a different restaurant, but came back here for dessert. Wednesday we had reservations somewhere else, but Thursday we came again for dinner. It's THAT good! I can't wait for my next trip to Austin so I can eat here again lol! The Kung Pao was my favorite, but everything we tried was amazing. The drinks are great too, and definitely save room for the donut holes, those are to die for!!!

Went with friends and enjoyed every bite! The salt & pepper shrimp was fantastic, the beef & broccoli was also very good. Their brisket fried rice was excellent! I’d give 5 stars, but the service was sluggish and we didn’t love how they staggered our food, some things came out quickly while others lagged behind and there was no cadence to the meal. Otherwise, would highly recommend this restaurant.
