  If you’re looking to buy a home from a company that’s professional and communicates with you throughout the process, do NOT come here. We were strung along for months, constantly told they were “waiting on the county” to check the property. This dragged on for five months. When I finally called the county myself, I was told it only takes 10 weeks max. Throughout the entire process, I had to be the one constantly checking in. The lack of communication made it feel like I was bothering them just by asking for updates. We started out working with one sales rep who barely answered any of our questions. Hoping for a better experience, we reached out ourselves to a different salesperson, but sadly, the same communication issues continued. At one point, out of frustration, we called the store manager directly. They told us that if we weren’t happy, we could get our deposit back, which should tell you how bad things had gotten. Then, when we finally found out the land wouldn’t work, there was no attempt to help or offer alternative options. You’d think that with a commission on the line they’d put more effort into trying to make it work. Instead, we were dropped into a group message with the sales admin and land seller and watched as the sales admin responded very unprofessionally to multiple messages. That conversation ended with “Please find someone that can help you with a contract for your land. This conversation is done. Thank you and enjoy your weekend!” After that, we didn’t hear another word. Not from her. Not from our sales rep. Nothing. We ended up pulling out completely. If you’re thinking about buying a home, I strongly recommend going anywhere else.

  STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!! The management at this store is well below sub-par. Our sale started with one rep and was passed along to someone else several times ( without my knowledge or consent), and before you know it, no communication at all. I would give a 0 star if possible. I waited until we were actually in the home before writing this. The manager, Chris, will lie to your face about anything. I was given a rough estimate move-in date of the end of January. It was months after before construction was even finished. Though they kept sending me emails to sign finalizing construction. The "project manager " ,if that is what you call it, Spencer completely failed at his job. He under bid the job my many thousands of dollars, and Chris tried to add it all to my bill. I even attempted to involve corporate. What a joke. I got a few numbers to contact from a man at oakwood in Shelby (Seth). The numbers led me to a very outdated voicemail to a woman who never called me back. I opened a corporate case, but absolutely no one has contacted me still to this day. Almost 6 months. One of their contractors even drove all through my yard, over the entier drain field, and plumbing to the septic. At the end of it all this new person Becka is walking us through the house after we get the keys, and informs us that if we give a good review, she and another guy will get bonuses. So be weary.

  Nice selection of new homes. Still suffering from sticker shock though. Had no idea that trailers cost this much. Randy L
