  Stopped in for open house, and got neat food and very friendly treatment from the knowledgeable staff. I know from talking to other Oakwood customers over the years that almost 100% of Oakwood home buyers are very satisfied with purchase. Especially recommend chatting with Gil!

  Stay as far away from this place as you can! We bought a retirement home for my parents. This was supposed to be a complete package. Then they hit us with a few different fees we had to pay. Every contractor I talked to on the project told us the same thing when we asked about what we were getting. They were told from the GM it wasn't in the budget. We did a walk through of the home before settlement. I sent a long list of issues. We got a generic fix on everything. While we were trying to get issues fixed the GM was call my bank demanding a check. (I did not use their finance companies, I used my bank) I will give one person in the company credit. Jeremy in service has been super helpful! My parents just got here this weekend and opened the door to another nightmare. The HVAC system backed up and flooded their brand new house. The filters were never changed after the drywall work was done (rookie mistake) they secured the drain line with zip ties to the belly paper under the house. The unit was never sealed and air blowing into the crawl space. Ahotty work to say the least. The septic is completely full and alarms going off. The reply we got was no service on the weekend. My parents are in there 70's cleaning up water trying to minimize the damage in their brand new home. This company (at least the millsboro location) is a joke!
