    Unfortunately the worst contractor experience we've ever had. Company gave a two hour notice that they would begin the project that day, which was difficult to schedule for both myself and my neighbors who share the fence that they painted. The painter was late and did not arrive with the needed materials. The anticipated 2.5 day project lasted 5 days total through a holiday weekend. Through this project I was bounced around to three different project managers, my painter (who was great!) and the owner. In addition to having to keep in contact with my three neighbors twice each day...it was a lot of work to coordinate what I expected to be a simple project. There was no proactive communication from this company until the invoice was sent. I received a call from the company during the first business day after the project was completed. Since it was during the work day I could not answer. I then received a text from the owner stating that "my team has been struggling to reach you" and "Now that our work is done, we need to get paid." I called the owner after I got off work, and he proceeded to combatively defend the work and demand immediate payment. The bill was paid within one business day of completion. I am a working mother the day after the holiday weekend, so I just needed to put children to bed for the day before I paid my bills. Mistakes happen, and projects can run long...it happens. It has happened with other projects we've contracted out and it hasn't been an issue. However this company's disorganization, lack of proper planning, and lack of proactive communication made this a very frustrating process. Lastly, the combative nature of the last communication regarding payment was really tough. Writing this review in hopes that others can avoid situations like this! Editing after the below response to clarify that the "key points" that the business responded to do not represent the experience of me or my neighbors at all
