I've lived here for years. Old management wasn't the best but the new management is great to us so far. Should have left a review sooner but better late than never

If you are looking to apply here, run immediately. If i could give 0 stars i would. My fiance and I applied to these apartments, the first red flag should’ve been that you can rarely get ahold of them so he had to drive up there almost everytime he needed to ask questions or get anything done. He put in the application, and paid the holding fee of $150. He spent over $200 in total with application fees and holding fees (which was due at the time of application).. They then took about a week to get back to us on whether or not the application was approved. They told us multiple days they’d get back to us by the end of the day and never did. Finally- They told us monday move in would work. Monday came and he called, they then said the application was denied due to criminal history- mind you he has absolutely nothing on his record. Never been detained, arrested, and has probably been years since he even got a speeding ticket. Every background check he’s ever had has been fine. After he told them this, they then changed their answer to “Actually it’s not cause that it’s cause your credit” While his credit isn’t the BEST, It’s in the 600s. No rental history at all, evictions, broken leases- etc. Upon denial they are supposed to refund the holding fee. Got an email saying it would be refunded within 10-15 business days. It’s now been almost 20 days and he still has not received the refund. We have called multiple times- finally got an answer and the leasing office employee Kendall was confused and said it was “approved”? And then said he’d call back by the end of the day and never did. We have called over 5 times today and finally got an answer, Kendall changing his mind and saying it actually takes 30-45 business days. These people will play with your time, money, have no knowledge of policy and have 0 communication skills. Worst place we have ever applied to. We now found a place that approved us with absolutely no issues. Definitely look into other options if you value your time and money. If you have this many issues in only the application process, it’s probably a good thing we found something better. Terrible experience
