  My third time at Not Ya Mama's and it's the best yet! I got the Reuben and a side of their perfectly seasoned fries. I've ordered something different each time in a quest to try their entire menu, and each is uniquely delicious! Top that off with friendly staff and you've got a 5 star review.

  We really wanted to visit a 100% plant based spot in Salem on our vacation. This is our 2nd time coming out to Salem from California. I did the homework & planned on a Tuesday & unfortunately it was closed. All I ask is that the hours are posted online somewhere but it was very disappointing. We didn't find out till we saw the A frame board in front. We ended up at Au Gratin. To our surprise, there was a separate vegan menu.

  What a welcomed relief during our Salem trip! I was very excited to have a place that I could order something other than just an impossible burger or salad in the center of town! Conveniently in the mall too. We had the breakfast burrito, the Rueben sandwich, and the Mac and cheese- when I tell you everything was SO delicious !! The flavor of everything was SPOT ON. Thank you for the great food

  You cannot go wrong with the steak bomb. Outstanding. Even if you are a meateater you will crave this. Tastes exactly like the SuperSub steak bombs from Beverly back in the 80s and 90s. Every bite is perfect blend of peppery steak, mushroom, peppers, cheese, onion, salami in a fresh Italian bread sub roll. Absolutely addictive. Melt in your mouth. I still cannot believe these are all plant based. Mind blown. This steak bomb will become your new addiction even if you're not vegan.

  Waited 50 minutes (20 after the time the order was supposed to be ready) for them to hand my partner a bag with one sandwich instead of the two we ordered. She was told then that they had refunded her sandwich because they ran out of an ingredient, and that someone was supposed to notify her but no one did. This is just the latest in a string of visits here where the general ambivalence towards running a functional restaurant has if not affected my order, annoyed me personally as a human being with dignity. Chaotic and lawless ordering, clueless directionless staff and truly insane wait times. Will absolutely never go back, and will be recommending the same to every person I know and will ever meet in my lifetime.
