  Update: It's not the place but the mechanics they hire. New review based on additional work performed. The mechanic must have 'snagged' a hose while working on the car. Steve at the counter said there's a transmission leak and would need the car overnight and remove the bumper to fix a transmission cooler leak. By the evening there was a puddle of fluid under my car.?? This was not present in the morning when I drove the car into the shop for a coolant/hose change. The next day, after personal review of the leak, i find the hose pulled and clamp moved which caused the transmission fluid leak at the transmission cooler. Steve should have reviewed this mechanics work prior to telling me he needs the car overnight. Also, I supplied dealer hoses and clamps for replacement with a radiator flush. I find the factory clamps I purchased were not all used. The transmission fluid leak that was non-existing prior to this visit only cost hours of my time and some fluid to fix. Steve should have reviewed this prior to telling me he found fluid leaking and explaining he'll need the car overnight. I also was not happy with the bill being $100 over from quoted price. Original review and original work is still okay. Work was done on time and within quoted budget. I am familiar with auto repairs and very impressed with the good ethics and workmanship. I would highly recommend this place. I delt with Steve at the front counter and the mechanic who worked on my car. As needed, I will return. Thank you Northern Brake & Transmission Center. Their hours make it convenient to drop off and pick-up if working in the city.
