Great place to get your steps in, without getting sunburned outside. Don't forget to buy a yummy cookie from one of the vendors!

The only problem we had was as we drove through the mall parking lot, there were several overhead signs with the height written on it, but it was hanging low on one side apparently and scraped up the top of my husband's new truck. The height was the same as the others in the parking lot but this was the only one that hit us. We saw a few other just personal trucks go through, not any business/box trucks, and have to back out like we did! Its a big problem. Be careful here, hopefully they'll get it fixed.

Northstar Mall never disappoints. When I need to find an event dress/outfit I never walk away empty handed. The mall is clean and staff in all major stores are very helpful and friendly. Easy to park and walk the mall.

Old mall in the inner-city. But it still attracts the young and the restless as a destination. Big anchors. Macy's, JCPenney, Dillard's, & Saks Fifth Avenue. keep it alive. High rent creates a sunami of kiosk vendors. The 2nd floor food court helps keeps customers their longer. Unexplainably, the Cheesecake Factory is always busy & hard to get a table. The good news is this mall has not resorted to scrappy flea market vendors on the weekends..... yet. Large garage parking between JCP & Macy's has one elevator that is out of order. And the adjacent stairways are not easy to climb and they are "cucuy!" Last week an elderly couple got stuck in an elevator for over 1.5 hours! Very small Valet parking lot gets full early. Little to no security presence. Visit at your own risk.
