Our kitty, Joy, was so sick. She was in liver failure and required a feeding tube. After taking her to an emergency vet, misdiagnosed with teeth issues, and another animal hospital which wanted to do a blood transfusion, she was properly treated by the Drs at Norfolk County Veterinary Service. They properly tubed her, gave her all the meds she needed, were so attentive to my questions and her needs. The staff was also very honest about her potential of survival. The doctors were so gentle in letting us know the truth of her health. I am happy to report that she has made a full recovery. I couldn't be more happy with the level of care we received!

Norfork County is one of the best vets to bring your fur baby too. The staff are always polite and always there to help. I've been going to them for many years and never had a problem. Dr Poor and the whole team is amazing and I'm so grateful to have a amazing vet for my sweet kitty Jack Jack. If it wasn't for them my boy would've been gone to kitty heaven and I would've lost my best friend. I 100% recommend Norfork County to anyone looking for amazing vet for your loving pet they are amazing and is always there to help🐾

I have been a client of Norfolk County vet for over 10 years now and they have always taken such great care of my dog and cat. All of the veterinarians and technicians are so kind and patient when it comes to my reactive dog and have always been willing to go the extra mile so that he feels safe and is comfortable. I have had nothing but positive interactions with everyone that works there. I can really tell that they are all passionate about what they do and genuinely care about the well being of my pets (and my well being too). I will always recommend them to anyone that asks.

I have been a Customer at Norfolk Vet for about 8 years and to be honest, have never been that impressed with the customer service I received, and the Dr's bedside manners as they say. within the last 2 months I learned, my dog is in active heart failure. I had called the office Monday, twice, and was told each time Dr McCabe is not in today, however, another Veterinarian on call would call me back, regarding a very important issue. I did not receive a call back, so on my way home I decided to stop by the office. I was met with the front desk staff, who was very rude, and told me the Veterinarian that is on call couldn't "speak" to me because my dog is not "her patient". I then asked if that was the case, which sounds ridiculous and a complete excuse of the Drs. negligence, why wasn't I told that when I called twice. Staff then assured me that I would receive a call the following morning from my Vet. I waited for 1.5 hours following morning for the call that never came. I called the office and was told she was seeing patients. I am beyond shocked that this is how the staff operates, Vets included. it is now 5 hours after I called, 3 times within 24 hours, and not one Vet has got back to me. Mind you my call was very important regarding my dogs active heart failure and cardiac cachexia.
I have another dog who is 3 and after this experience I am looking for a new Vet.

NOT RECOMMENDED. They botched the care at one visit and we're nothing but defensive and negligent when I asked for how this will be prevented in the future. Pets can't defend themselves so at least I tried. Seeking new recommendations for trustworthy vets.
