I woke up early this morning a little hot and bothered and realized that something was wrong with my A/C. It was 5:30am and certain that no HVAC company was taking my non emergency call this early I decided to do some research online. I found stellar reviews for a local business and decided to try calling them a little before 7am. Low and behold their answering service answered and took my info. I recieved a call back within 15 minutes from Eileen who made sure she understood my problem and told me that she would work in getting one of her service techs out to see me shortly. Low and behold she called me back within the hour and told me a tech was en route. Eric was very curtious and professional and had identified and fixed my AC issues all before 9AM! I was extremely thankful and happy as we are about to get a very warm heat wave starting today through this Fourth of July week. I feel very fortunate to have picked No Frost to handle this dreadful situation. Their rates were very reasonable especially on a Saturday. Thank you so much to everyone at No Fost that came to my family’s rescue. You can’t go wrong using them! I highly recommend using them!

Frequently Asked Questions About No -Frost Air Conditioning & Heating Co
How often should I service my HVAC system?
HVAC systems should ideally be serviced twice a year—once in the spring for the cooling system and once in the fall for the heating system. Regular maintenance can prevent costly repairs and ensure optimal performance.
How long do HVAC systems last?
HVAC systems typically last 10–20 years. With regular maintenance, some systems may last even longer, but eventually, parts will wear out and efficiency will decrease, making replacement more cost-effective.
What size HVAC system do I need?
The size of an HVAC system depends on factors like the size of your home, insulation quality, number of windows, and climate. An HVAC technician can perform a load calculation to determine the right size for your needs.
How can I improve my HVAC’s energy efficiency?
Regular maintenance, changing air filters, upgrading to a programmable thermostat, sealing air ducts, and possibly upgrading to an ENERGY STAR-rated system can help improve energy efficiency and lower utility costs.
How often should I change my HVAC air filters?
Most filters should be replaced every 1–3 months, depending on usage, system type, and air quality. Homes with pets or high dust levels may need more frequent changes.
How does indoor air quality affect HVAC performance?
Signs of a refrigerant leak include reduced cooling, longer running times, or unusual noises from the compressor. A leak should be handled by a professional to ensure safe and effective repairs.
