Absolutely horrible customer service. I have nextlink in two locations, I work from both. My main has been down over a month, now my second location is down. Non existent customer service. Sit on hold for well over an hour and still nothing. They have zero customer support after hours and on weekends. It’s really sad they bought a veteran owned business and destroyed it in Illinois. Also, I’m still getting charged for zero internet! They have no respect for the working person that can’t call them or answer calls because I’m with my own clients! I wish someone would buy them out who knows how to run a business and help their clients! BUYER BEWARE!!!

Had issues and no service for 3 months. Kept being told it was an issue on my end. So I spend the money to get new equipment and nothing changed. So, failed attempt after failed attempt, I decide to change my providers. Made the switch in September and called Nextlink to cancel. I'm then told that they will send it to the billing department to have them close out my account. Now it's the beginning of January and I get a letter in the mail saying thanks for your payment. So I look up my bank statements and I've been charged since September. So I call them and ask for a refund. They tell me that they can't because they tried to contact me to cancel my service and they couldn't get ahold of me. Seriously?!? I called first asking to have it canceled! So why didn't they cancel it when I called in the beginning?! This company is such a joke! Don't get trapped into paying this company or they will steal your money!

Was a bit of a fight to get hooked up, but I have had it for a little over a month now and have been happy with the service. Just giving 3 stars because of the hard time to get hooked up.

Received new invoice from them this week, they have started charging fees that should not be charged for internet service. Started charging 3.12 for regulatory recovery fee which yes most likely is charged for phone service BUT NOT INTERNET. They also started charging state and local tax for internet service. So far have found no where where interent service is charged sales tax in illinois! Nothing but fraudsters for less than amazing internet. Am going to try Whisper!!!!!!
