Nextlink now has 500 mega bit WiFi on multiple towers, and adding more soon. The installation tech was very knowledgable and thorough. I appreciate the installer Jerome's help in getting me set up properly. He's a good guy Nextlink give the man a raise! A++

Speed and dependability were better than we got with cable, up to a point. Then Nextlink internet went down. We called tech support. You can't call service directly. Tech support couldn't fit us on a schedule. Couldn't give us any sort of date or time that we might expect to get our internet connection fixed. My wife works from home, so internet is critical for her and we told them that. After repeated calls we finally got on a service schedule. And we had a guy come out and fix it. We were down for 7 days. My daughter also works on line and has both Nextlink and Brightspeed. She has had problems with both of them. They gave us no refund for the time down and charged us a 30 day cancelation fee. They scheduled an equipment pickup for 7/7. Today I got notice that the equipment pickup has been rescheduled for 7/14 between 1PM and 5PM. I called to reschedule and they put me on hold. Nextlink equipment was picked up 7/14.
Today is 7/27. I just got a past due notice, indicating that if I did not pay they would charge me a late fee. Incompetence beyond the ridiculous.

The internet connectivity and speed was fine but we’ve had nothing but headaches in dealing with the customer service. We were charged $20 more than originally quoted for our monthly rate and when we called to inquire about this the customer service rep had no idea why and couldn’t do anything to help us. She told us she’d call us back and never did.
We also recently moved out of our home and ended our service with Nextlink and getting someone to come pick up the router/modem was impossible. We were told that we needed to return it by mail but never received a shipping label to do so, even though one was promised. Then they told us someone would come pick up the equipment and no one ever did. Then we were told we needed to ship it and that we never should have been waiting for someone to come pick it up, we should have returned it by mail.
I would never recommend them as a company on the basis of all of these confusing interactions with their customer service people.

Kade Walker was the final installer on my NextLink fiber internet installation. He did a great job! He was patient and listened to my concerns. I explained to him how I preferred for the fiber wire to be ran in the house, and he helped me make it happen! 🙂
