Ate my favorite Newk’s meal today. A chicken Caesar salad with tomato soup. Thanks for the free piece of strawberry cake, just for being a loyal customer ❤️

Newks is amazing. They have a variety of food to choose from. They have one drink size-great idea, as they can thereby put the additional cup size money into making one special cup size, so their drink cups are collectible and do amazing in the dishwasher. And, oh, their sweet tea is so fresh, it melts the ice. It doesn’t get any fresher than that! The restaurant room temperature is always perfect.

Not sure what people are smoking to give this high reviews. The 4.5 stars (top in the area) is what made me stop in. I got the wrong sandwich (ordered French dip but got the Philly). Just dealt with it and asked for au jus. Tough bread. Very little meat and dry. Mayo? (checked a couple recipes and none have mayo). Ended up just pulling off the meat from the other half, still not good. Now comes the lobster bisque. Tasted fishy, couldn’t find any meat, and what’s worse had 3 pieces of shell. Yikes!
