Wine tastings and great times..... A couple weeks ago the Sommelier had to cancel last min so the owner brought in a Local Comedian who absolutely killed it...wine and laughs!

FlanaganSep 30, 20255.0For the last year or so, The New York Butcher Shoppe on Daniel Island has always been in my rotation, but quite frankly, the experiences I have had with the new GM elevated NYBS's place in that rotation. He understand community (which is what DI is all about, right?) and service. To me, that goes a VERY long way. Beyond that, the pre-made meals are my life cheat code and they are outstanding! They’re fresh, flavorful, and perfect for busy nights when I want a restaurant-quality dinner without the hassle. Every dish I’ve tried has been spot-on, and the variety makes it easy to keep coming back. Highly recommend stopping in, saying hi to Blake, and stocking up on both their butcher cuts and pre-made meals. This shop is a gem for Daniel Island!
- BHBarbara HartAug 1, 20252.0First and last time at this butcher shop. This is a franchise and it shows (I was unaware of this when I stopped in). Very rude staff that stares at you and asks "That's it?" a plethora of times. Mind you, I was just getting a nice cut of meat for dinner that evening and I do not buy in bulk. I guess that's criminal here, but there's plenty of other butcher shops that are actually LOCAL for you to patronize at in the Charleston area.

Everyone is friendly and welcoming, particularly Carly, who adds a personal touch to the experience. Additionally, the selection of meats, wines, and beautiful floral arrangements from Blume Designs is truly exceptional! The coffee cake is absolutely divine!
