- MVMatthew VarbleAug 2, 20255.0I went here a few weeks ago, just to look around and ended up walking out of the place with a pound of pepper bacon. They have a wonderful wine selection. All kinds of specialty cuts of meat and every Friday they have prime rib available as long as you call ahead. I was very impressed with the selection and I definitely plan to go back.

Staff behind counter is friendly (person checking inventory- not so much & wouldn't move for us to look in the cooler. Felt like we were bothering him & didn't want us in his way) . We never been there - friends told us about the shop as we love butcher shops.

I don’t know much about meat (not a big red meat eater and definitely not an expert) so therefore I had to ask questions when purchasing. The lady at the counter was so rude and unhelpful and I left the store completely mortified. This isn’t NY, this is SC, land of hospitality and common courtesy. People won’t always remember the words you say but they will definitely remember how you treated them. ✌️
