Horrible breakfast. I have had a terrible week. Decided to treat myself to steak and eggs. Steak was not edible. Bagel was dry, flavorless and the cream cheese was awful. Literally just an overall bad experience. It’s just food. I know. But I thought maybe this place could brighten my day just a little:(

I’ve only done takeout here but online ordering is easy and it’s always ready when I arrive. Friendly staff and love the bagels! Very generous with the cream cheese.

Great food, combative management that won’t own mistakes I’ve ordered large trays from New York Bagels 'N Bialys multiple times a year for events. The food is good, but every single time something is missing. This time we ordered a big spread where the main ingredient was lox. It’s a 90-minute round trip drive for me to get there, so I started checking the bags. The manager jumped in, pointed at a box, and said, “There’s your lox.” I trusted him and drove home. We opened it: tomatoes, not lox. My wife called and was told, “We’ll call you back in two minutes.” Forty-five minutes passed with no call, so I drove back. When I asked for the missing lox, the manager argued that he’d shown it to me and insisted we already had it. They ultimately handed me the lox—but never apologized, never acknowledged the mistake, and just kept insisting it was in our bag all along. Calling me a liar is widely inappropriate. What’s more likely? That I’d drive an extra 90 minutes to “scam” them out of a single pound of lox, or that the restaurant forgot to put it in the bag? That he repeatedly called my wife’s cell phone and got a busy signal (which was his claim - as if it's 1997), or that he simply never called? Excellent bagels and bialys, but unreliable orders and combative management—the worst combination for catering and important occasions. After repeated misses over the years and this latest experience, it’s a one-star from me.
