  So…Mr Eric and his carpenter; Mr Bill, has done an INCREDIBLE job!!! Definitely worth every penny. If you are looking for both; quality and attention to detail, look no further because this business will knock your socks off. We had a custom deck built of cedar the length of our home, and we could not be happier with the work. I highly suggest using Nelson Custom Builders Inc.. We are so happy with his work that we are already planning to use him again for a three seasons room in the future.

  We hired Nelson Custom Builders to repair and update our deck and replace a staircase in the house. Eric is a true professional who provided quality craftsmanship at a reasonable price. Beautiful work. We are considering additional renovations and will definitely work with Eric again. Highly recommended!

  We hired Nelson Custom Builders to renovate our client's lake house. We acted as the designers on this project and since we and the client are in Chicago, it was a long distance project, which is always a bit risky with a new contractor. The product came out beautifully and we recommend working with this company in the future. Eric always picked up the phone, he was honest, he was extremely communicative and he worked with us to execute the vision. There were times when unforseen hiccups arose and Eric was very calm, which we very much appreciate in a contractor.
