- JBJeff BenjaminFeb 20, 20245.0In today's environment, it seems like a rarity when a business tells you something and then they make good on what they told you. Nelson did just that. My uber expensive super-automatic espresso machine had a hiccup and when I called Nelson they told me that it would take them three weeks from the day I dropped it off to even look at it to give me a repair estimate. Hey, they are the only place in the whole state so what was I to do? When I dropped it off I noted there were dozens of machines lined up for service so the delay made sense. But, in just ten days they gave me a call and told me what the issue was and how they could repair it. I authorized it and the guy said the part I needed would take ten days for them to receive. On exactly the tenth day they called to say it was ready for me to pick up. Total bill was about $45 less than their initial estimate. I am now happily downing espresso again from a machine that works at least as well as it did when brand new. Excellent service and communication from Nelson Appliance Repair!

I would have liked a little more communication to confirm they had received the UPS delivery in the first place, but overall they met my expectations. Not too many places like this anymore when these companies would rather you just buy a full new appliance. It will be an easy decision to return here with my business in the future. Thanks!
