Necco started out great. We went through the training, however after the training and we got our first placement was when things got bad. The first month was decent the old case worker worked with us and she was great. Our location hired a new worker and they took over the case in October. First off she wasn't well trained. She didn't know how to interact with children either. So we ended up having to request the foster children to be removed. Things got sour real quick. People were lied to on where one of the placements were going to be placed. The Necco program director for our area specifically told the family that we took away what they call a "10 day notice" when we didn't. Once they found a place for the foster kids they gave us one hour notice. Left most of the children's things at our house so they could get it later which was fine. The next day the program director came to our house to pick up the children's things. She was extremely rude and very condescending. I can't in good faith even begin to suggest this agency as a good foster agency. Little communication, no support. They did assist with getting the foster children to their visitation only because the site was over two hours away from where we reside. I really hope things improve for this agency because fostering has been an enjoyable experience so far. The Agency itself has caused more problems than what it is worth.
