Our nine year old son has gone to Christmas Camp two years in a row and enjoyed it both years. I appreciate Chip's approach - that camp will first be fun and that everyone will learn something. Every member of the staff displays that same joy in baseball my son has and they genuinely relish sharing the fun and their knowledge with kids. Baseball lessons at NBA have been a perfect fit for our kid. He has learned so much from Mark and Chip both baseball specific skills as well as broadly applicable skills that sports can help teach like focus on the moment and handling the big emotions of the game. NBA delivers quality instruction. In his first few pitching outings, our son was throwing balls by missing high. I mentioned it to Mark, and Mark immediately knew what to do. He worked with him with weighted balls to change the release point, and problem solved! I could give a review with 50 or more examples when NBA provided just the baseball knowledge that our son needed in the moment. Our son tends to be on the more competitive end of the spectrum in pretty much everything which can be challenging. Chip and the NBA coaches seem to recognize the trait and provide such a welcoming environment for all the kids (my daughter loves to go there and play as well). It is helped tremendously for our son to be around other competitive individuals and learn how to channel the trait towards positive outcomes. We have had an overwhelmingly positive experience with NBA- couldn't recommend them more!
