  We love Naptown! The instructors are the best part. They have gone above and beyond to help nurture our kids’ love of music. They have demonstrated patience, knowledge, and a love for what they do. We highly recommend Naptown for anyone interested in exploring their musical interests.

  We've been going to Naptown since my daughter was 3, starting with the musikgarten to private lessons. This has been such a nurturing environment for a young music learner. My daughter has thrived and the teachers have been very patient as she matured to concentrate longer. They also helped her overcome her stage fright. Lots of love for teacher Sophia Hardesty and Miles Malone.

  My son has been going to the Musikgarten classes since he was 3 months old. About 5 months later, he still enjoys every single class with Miss Amanda and Miss Sophia. They are caring and dedicated music educators and engage every single child in the classes. I cannot say enough good things about how this program is enriching my child's development.

  My kids love the group music classes here- they get exposure to various instruments and learning notes, scales and rhythm with vibrant teachers. Mr. Freddie is so kind to the class and really reads the room and curates the class to the students strengths once he gets to know them. I like the themes - as a parent it’s really current and accessible to kids. It is also so valuable that they have a makeup policy at Naptown because with kids things happen and the admin team has been super helpful with reschedules for my family. Really love what they are providing.

  As a non-traditional student, I was nervous about starting to learn to play an instrument at almost 30. However, when I reached out to Sophia, she assured me that there was a place for me at Naptown Sings. She connected me with Sean Pietras and we hit the ground running, in a very welcoming environment where I am learning to shed my self-consciousness and embrace my love for music fully. Sean’s approach to learning guitar has worked really well for me, where I find songs that I personally enjoy and learn around them, and each song truly has its own challenge. I feel really accomplished when we get through a song, and am pleasantly surprised to find that I’ve learned many other valuable lessons along the way. Additionally, Sean is very encouraging and understanding. I don’t feel pressured to meet any expectations, and he is always quick to congratulate my progress. Overall, I would highly recommend Sean as a great guitar teacher. I look forward to continuing my lessons here, and find that it is really easy to do so with such an automated system and Sophia checking in on me to make sure it’s all going smoothly. Thanks to Sean and Naptown Sings & Plays!
