My experience with attorney M.K was terrible. One years ago my husband died and still his probate estate didn't end. Stay away from him.

I find it curious that a law firm of "30 years" has only a handful of reviews, many of them unfavorable. Our first impression of the female that answered the phone was not a good one. She was curt, rude and unprofessional. She promised us a return call from the attorney to establish a consultation to discuss wills and trusts. That return call never happened. So, in choosing an estate planner, it's imperative to notice whether or not your phone calls of inquiry to a prospective planner are promptly returned. This is perhaps the most important criteria in choosing a lawyer, because after you die, your executor, children, and other heirs will have enough other problems to deal with - getting the lawyer to call them back shouldn't be one of them. Prompt call backs are a great indicator of how efficient and trustworthy any lawyer will be.

He left us high and dry in the middle of our case then wanted us to voluntarily sign off on his leaving so he can not be held liable for what he advised to us. No way are we signing anything! It is very much his way or the high way if you are a client. We were not notified of a important court ordered meeting and only found out because I emailed his rude assistant when I did not hear from them after a couple of months. His staff is rude and obnoxious. At a meeting with him and his assistant, they stood with one hand on the doorknob, standing in the door as we asked questions about our case, like he did not want to be there. My last 2 visits there, I was made to feel very unwelcome, not even offered a bottle of water after sitting in the lobby for a hour. He filters every phone call or email through someone else if you want to contact him and since he charges way above the norm, you better be okay with that.
