I highly recommend Murphy gas. I’ve been ripped off by other propane suppliers. Murphy gas is a top notch supplier. I’ve been using Murphy for the past few years now and I’ll continue to use their service.

I used this place because the owner before I bought my House used it . The communication is so poor and is never a mess up on their end. Atleast that is how they will state it. Last year they forgot about filling my gas tank twice while is was freezing! What I didn’t know is there is a place called Hometown that is a different environment and honestly better prices if I can save one person some time and stress go to hometown .

This company is the peak of incompetence. Constantly lets your tank run out of gas while on a refill schedule. We got a new company and set up a date for a new tank to be installed and called Murphys to set up a DATE for them to come pickup their tank, my wife spoke with Melissa who assured her that the tank wouldn’t be scheduled to be removed and we’d have to call again to have it removed once our new tank was installed. I had my doubts because of their past incompetence and guess who showed up the next day to remove the tank? 2 Murphy morons. The morons lied to my wife and told her it was shut off and empty, which was wrong because we were still at 10% and were currently using the tank an hour before I went to work this morning. Murphys came to the house and loaded the tank on the truck without informing me or my wife, leaving us and our 2 children without heat for the next 5 days. Also offered us a “discounted rate” to stay with them as customers, except it only applied to the balance we had already paid to them. Stay far away. The office people, the technicians, and the manager, Angie, always have an excuse as to why nothing is ever their fault. Will be filing my complaint with the triple B. To anyone looking for a new propane provider, we spoke to Hometown about the incident, the company we’re switching to, and they worked stuff around to move our install date up so we wouldn’t have to go as long without heat. Already more customer service than 4 years with Murphys. EDITING TO ADD Once our new company came out and installed the new tank they informed us that a lot of our regulators / fittings weren’t up to code and didn’t have any grounding/lightning protection on the piping. So if you’re a current Murphys customer you should probably verify your equipment is safely up to code. Hometown has been great so far.

Great prices and have had their service crew out multiple times to move my tank during construction of a detached garage. Great guys!!
