  Reminds me of why we started camping in the first place. The staff was amazing. Full hook ups and all the amenities!

  The park itself is beautiful and well-kept, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. We made our reservation months in advance, and unfortunately, it’s now forecasted to rain the entire time. Who wants to camp in the rain? I reached out to see if we could move our reservation, but since it’s the end of the season, they only offered two alternative weekends—neither of which we can make. Apparently, that means we’re just out of luck and they’ll keep the money. There’s really no common sense in that. It would make far more sense (and be much more customer-friendly) to allow a reschedule for next season. Policies like this are how you lose loyal, returning customers—especially those who had planned to come back every year.

  The interstate noise was absurdly loud at the campsite. The site was clean but not enough room to have a table or chairs used as the next camper was within 8-10 feet. Don’t use the non-refundable rate option as it’s used against you when the site is sub-par. In our two or three interactions, the staff were poor communicators. Find a Walmart lot, it would be quieter and darker.

  Shannon and the front office staff are the nicest people you can find! This made my experience here great, plus it’s an incredible place to stay! Highly recommended
