MulchSupply has been my go-to source when I need big deliveries of mulch, top soil and landscaping stones. Their prices are very reasonable and I've even received next day delivery. I strongly recommend them when you have some serious landscaping projects on your to-do list.

I have been using Mulch Supply for about 7 or 8 years now. My old suppliers mulch was full of a lot of things not related to mulch. I tried Mulch supply by the advice of a friend and have been happy ever since. The mulch is of good quality without a lot of other items. It is so easy to schedule on line and they come they day promised. I have recommended them to other friends.
What are the delivery charges for less than five yards of material?
Delivery charges are per material. Delivery for four yards costs $20, three yards costs $40, two yards costs $60, and one yard costs $80.
Why can't I get a specific delivery time?
The short answer is that many factors beyond our control could change the time of your delivery, making it difficult to give even a few-hour window.
The long answer is that our dispatcher creates the delivery schedule on the morning of the delivery day. The schedule may be re-arranged for a number of reasons, including to avoid traffic and accidents, mechanical issues with our trucks or equipment, drivers getting to work late, delays of inventory deliveries to our garden center, weather for our topsoil customers (we can't deliver topsoil in the rain), and delays at our supplier locations (lunch break, quarry blasting, or loading delays). We handle these issues as they happen, and therefore, we must keep the delivery schedule flexible.
How much mulch do I need?
Every application is different, but a good rule of thumb is that one cubic yard of any material will cover 100 square feet at three inches thick.
What is a cubic yard?
A cubic yard is 27 cubic feet. Imagine a box three feet wide, three feet long, and three feet high. The area inside that box is one cubic yard.
Can you dump my material on the lawn?
Lawn deliveries require dry conditions and plenty of room for the trucks to maneuver. We require a backup delivery location on the driveway in the event our driver is unable to deliver to the desired location. We rely on our driver's experience and judgment to ensure the protection and safety of your property and our equipment.
Will the trucks make ruts in my lawn?
Each lawn is different, but there are some conditions to be aware of. Our trucks can weigh over 30,000 lbs, which is a lot of pressure pushing down on your lawn, sprinklers, septic, etc. In most situations, weeks without rain are required to dry the lawn enough to support the weight of our trucks. Even with these precautions, the trucks may make ruts in the lawn and sometimes even get stuck. We can not be held liable for either one.
Why should I not install my color-enhanced mulch in the rain?
To ensure the best color, it is often necessary for your dyed mulch to be installed in nice weather. This allows the dye to dry and prevent wash-off. We recommend at least 36 hours of nice weather after installation for best results.
What are the benefits of using mulch?
Mulch prevents a loss of moisture from the soil due to evaporation and reduces the growth of weeds when installed at a proper depth. Mulch also keeps the soil cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, providing better growing conditions for your plants. Mulching prevents soil splashing, eliminating erosion and preventing soil-borne diseases from splashing onto your plants. Additionally, mulching prevents the crusting of the soil, allowing for better moisture absorption into the soil. Mulching can enhance the look of your landscaped lawn, trees, and shrubs.
What is the difference between playground mulch and other mulches?
Playground mulch is made from the core of the tree, so there are no roots, leaves, limbs, or bark in it. It is kiln-dried, causing a very low moisture content.
What is the difference between screened topsoil and unscreened topsoil?
Screened topsoil does not have any rocks or roots larger than 3/8 of an inch. Unscreened topsoil can contain rocks and roots.
