    Hotel rooms are very, very basic! They don't serve breakfast and for paying almost 300 bucks for their crappy room, you would expect at least to get a complimentary breakfast!!!

    Zatrzymaliśmy się w tym hotelu na jedną noc. Pokoje czyste, wyposażenie nowe świeżutkie, nowoczesna stylistyka. Personel w recepcji bardzo miły. Minusy..? To na pewno ten, że jest tu duża akustyka. Pokoje nie są wyciszone. Słychać Wszystko co dzieje się na korytarzu czy w pokojach obok. Bardzo szkoda że nie ma tu śniadań, a potencjał jest bo przecież jest tu przylegająca restauracja, ale niestety czynna dopiero od 4:00 pm. Śniadanie zjedliśmy w centrum miasteczka w Kate's place. Polecamy było pysznie.

    The location and view are fantastic, the front desk staff were genuinely friendly, and the food at the on-site restaurant was great. However, travelers with animals should be aware of something important. The hotel advertises itself as “pet friendly,” and when we called to make the reservation over the phone, we were assured our service animal wouldn’t be an issue. After driving all day, we were told to leave around 7pm because they only accept dogs. The manager who made that decision wasn’t even on site, yet she spoke to us with an attitude that was surprisingly very unprofessional. When we asked if it was even legal to remove a guest with a service animal, her response was to tell us to “get a lawyer” and that she was not going to have this conversation with us and that we had to be out by 7:30 with no plan for where to go. It was an incredibly frustrating experience and not something you expect from a place that promotes itself as welcoming. I hope the hotel updates its wording, reservation process, and staff training so others don’t have to deal with the same treatment.

    Great location in Ridgway. Rooms are very decent. They could amp up the cleanliness just a bit and I’d give them five stars. But this is a great, more affordable place to stay in the area!

    If you’re just passing through and are solely using this place to just stay over night it would work. The girl at the front desk was polite. In May I got married in Montrose and had multiple guest and my self stay the lodge. I was contact with someone named Jill and Shannon for months and the chef about having breakfast for the guest, and using their bar area after the reception. Closer to the date I couldn’t get a response from anyone which is frustrating but it’s whatever. Then comes the wedding weekend and there is no breakfast as promised, and the bar wasn’t open for us after the reception as promised. Apparently they had it reserved for us at 10 even though in all my emails and text I said we get back after 11….. by the time we got back at like 11:30/12 it was all locked up and no one around. I tried reaching out to Jill and Shannon and got no where. Still never heard a peep. If the lodge is going to use an outside party to schedule wedding groups and etc you would think they would try to keep up communication but clearly they don’t care. Aside from the broken promises the rooms were clearly not vacuumed with multiple guest having pubic hair on their floors and multiple guest had their rooms moved around from booking in which they were handicapped and got moved to the second floor after specifically saying at booking they can’t be on the second floor. Just all around disorganized. Complete BS. I had all my guest stay there and would never had if I knew we would be totally cheated like we were. When I asked to speak to a manager there was literally no one to talk to they either quit or were on vacation. Not worth the $$ the rooms cost by any means.
