Every state farm agent is the same - not in a good way either...
Don't bother to apply for any of these state farm independent contractors. Big waste of time! Their "employment requirements" are vague and don't actually convey the type of desired employee they're genuinely seeking (which is basically internal only or nepotism). I've been denied several times through any agent, despite me having sufficient customer service experience - I was told that's not their "ideal candidate".
I believe that a company should handle the hiring process in their own standard, but at least have the courtesy to elaborate on whether you're seeking internally or externally as well as experienced or inexperienced. That'll narrow down the list of applicants quickly and effectively while ensuring no wasted time for either party.
To the state farm agent who reads this (if you bother to), think of this review as constructive criticism.
