Awful customer service and then no call/no shows.
My property management sent out a work order in the early afternoon on 8/25 and said they'd be calling to schedule an appointment. I hadn't received a call by 8/27 afternoon so I called them directly. The receptionist told me Olivia would call me back to schedule, which she did shortly after. She told me the soonest they could come out was a week later on 9/3. I asked if there was any possibility they could come out sooner as we're having a really bad rat problem. Olivia said that they normally have been booking 2 weeks out so 9/3 from 9am-11am was essentially them doing me a solid by getting me in sooner but added that if they had any cancelations, she would let me know. I took today off and waited. By 11:08am this morning, no one had showed up so I called them to ask what happened. The receptionist said Olivia was on the phone but they would call me right back. I called them back at 12:10 and 12:36 but no one answered so I left them a message. I let my property management know what happened and they tried calling them with no luck either. A friend of mine got a hold of them at 1:42 and the receptionist claimed that our appointment wasn't scheduled until NEXT Wednesday. There was a whole conversation last week about how waiting 1 week was better than their usual 2 weeks so I know I'm not going crazy. I took the day off work for this and our rat problem is only getting worse. Based off of the other recent reviews, not showing up and following through seems to be their current M.O.
Save yourself the headache and avoid them. They may have been one of the best in the past but between me and other disappointed people with infestations recently, you're better off calling a company that doesn't feel the need to lie because they dropped the ball.
Update: I just called right now and person who answered looked me up and said I'M NOT EVEN ENTERED IN THEIR SYSTEM. Just a note saying that I needed to be entered and if I wanted, they could schedule me in for NEXT WEDNESDAY. So just more lies to cover up lack of competency.

Unbelievable terrible service . Contracted them on 6/08 to inspect condo. They told us what we needed and as they state Important Notes: The $150 Initial Inspection Fee can be credited towards the cost of our Post-Repair Trapping Program or the Initial setup fees for a Maintenance Program, provided the selected service is initiated within 60 days of the Initial Inspection date.
Well that never happened after many phone calls and emails to please service our condo no show. Finally in July we did a drive by business and caught Olivia by surprise oh she said next week. Again no next week. More emails and phone calls and they scheduled the service on 08/14 a no show again. Well now we can’t use that initial $150 towards post repair and trapping cause they FAIL the customer in every way. We finally hired a professional service to handle. A local company we wanted but a local company the failed such a bad experience and not a way to run a business!

The worst pest control company in the area. The technician never showed up for the biweekly appointments. I had to remind him to come for the service. Many times I had to remove dead rats from the crawl space myself because they were rotting and smelling up the house. When I asked for a refund because of this, the company refused and even though they admitted the service was substandard.
Best pest service . . Living in the country you need an experienced person to handle it . . Our guy is Robbie . . The guy needs a cape . . "Robbie The Rat Man" Roof rats fear him . . Since he has been on the scene they quite eating scratching nesting in and outside our house . . The price is well worth it excellent service . . I told the receptionist that he drives up the driveway and the ground rumbles. . Rats Mice leaving in droves .. Robbie is on the scene . . Honestly . . knowing they are staying away is truly a peace of mind . . Getting sleep and saving money from the damage they cause is something Monterey Bay Pest Control Inc. Has helped us with . . Robbie is our guy . . Thank you for your service . .

Unfortunately, I have had a bad experience with Monterey Bay Pest Control. I contracted their services for an inspection of one of our sites for mice and everything went to plan. I requested pest control services for two of our buildings, of which the ball was completely dropped. Wanting to give the benefit of the doubt, I contacted them again. The woman was polite and explained why we never received our services contracts. She promised to complete them that day and send them to me for signature by the following Monday. That was a month ago. Oh well, on to the next…
