If your child is neuro divergent or on the spectrum or suffers from any type of severe mental health diagnosis along with a eating disorder DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!! I REPEAT DO NOT!! They do not know what they are doing or how to handle children correctly with these diagnosis. They make these children feel like they are different and are a nuisance. This facility will be sued at some point let me tell you. I am appalled.

Never ever send you kid here. First, one morning i woke up with an awful stomache (It was the worst pain ide ever felt in my life) and I threw up 4 times and had violent diaherra and later I met with the doctor and the only thing she said to me was to get some rest, mind you my stomache hurt so bad i thought i was gonna die. The only people who actually helped that morning were the MHCs. I also had super bad nausea and threw up multiple times and my team did not care at all. Second, the adolescent clanition simona is horrible. She lied to both me and my mom. She forced me to tell her things i didn't feel comfortable talking about and she guilt triped my mom into having me do iop. She also told my mom she was a bad parent. shes also super rude. The diatians are not much better. They gave me an insane amount of food and i had extreme nausea and threw up multiple times and they refused to lower my meal plan. And the food was absolutely discusting. I was also forced into seeing my weight (by my team) My NP also lied to me about side affects on a medication. Also, if you don't finish your food you get this awful supplement. If you don't finish the supplement to many times they put you on the feeding tube and if you refuse the feeding tube to many times you get sent to impaitient. If you refuse it in impaiteint you will get sedated or strapped to a chair. Thats not recovery thats trauma. Also the nurses have overdosed me, underdosed me, and gave me the wrong medication. they also refused to give my gaterade once because I didn't have an order but you don't need an order for gaterade. Once the meat they gave me was super pink in the middle. Theyve also gave people food theyre allergic to so many times. When I was discharged they also didn't give me my school computer. Don't send your kid to a monte nido place im traumatized.

Genuinely the most traumatizing place I've gone. 0/5 stars. I use a wheelchair at home and was refused a wheelchair. Kept fainting and they told me I was faking it and told all of the patients that i was faking and to stay away from me. After I left I was admitted to a hospital for my fainting episodes and stayed for 1 week. I also had staff several times spread rumors about me and my friends and say we did things we didn't and separated us all because we were friends. We were yelled at several times by staff and one threatened "I will go into your rooms and trash everything" and one staff said I was a bad influence on the patients and that I was a horrible person because I tried to refuse a visit. I had many panic attacks that were ignored and brushed off as me "faking" them. They refused to give me foods I wasn't allergic to, and then ignored my allergic reaction. I ended up getting sick from the feeds on multiple occasions and they yelled at me and made me clean it up while yelling at me. And so much more, I genuinely hate this place and have diagnosed PTSD from this place.

I have been here several times and left in such a hurry each time, because the professional staff were absolutely awful. I saw my case manager for a total of 1 hour in a whole week! This place can be good if you get a good team. You can also request one on ones with yoga, art therapy, ect. Food is great and so are the MHCs.
