Had a great time hunting in the Bob Marshall wilderness area. Strite put in a lot of hard work. The horses and mules were well trained and the food was great. I got a 6x6 bull elk on the hunt and was happy with the experience

What. A. Trip!!! There is really no way to adequately describe how incredibly wonderful our time in the Bob Marshall with the Montana Wilderness Lodge Outfitters was on our recent trip. The scenery was utterly breath-taking, the fishing was outstanding, the time on the trail, the river, in camp were all simply phenomenal. But what set this trip apart was the care provided to us by the Wilderness Lodge team. We were treated to incredible meals (thank you Kaitlyn!), special side-trips, stories, and an overall level of support and kindness by every single person hosting us on this trip. We are so grateful. We'll be back.

On a recent backpacking and fly fishing trip through the Bob Marshall Wilderness our group of 5 backpackers were plagued with blister issues from our first day on the trail. Several days into our trip we arrived at Big Prairie deep in the wilderness. Our group happened upon Rich McAtee of Montana Wilderness Lodge and Outfitting. He graciously talked with us and offered to pack our group out on his horses and mules which happened to be there due to him just dropping off a group of floaters along the South Fork of the Flathead River. Rich even reached out and reserved flights for our group while we were at Big Prairie. Our group spent the next two days on horseback. We stopped early the first day on horseback to fish some remote and wonderful runs along the South Fork. Rich and his crew were extremely professional and very experienced. Once back at the lodge, Rich continued to be extremely gracious and hospitable with our situation. All the amenities and food were absolutely first class at the lodge. Rich even allowed us access to a vehicle while we stayed with him so we could drive around to various fishing locations. It was such a delight to have had the opportunity to meet Rich, a true salt of the earth gentleman. Rich went completely out of his way to help 5 strangers who found themselves in a tough spot. If you have the good fortune of being able to plan a trip into the Bob Marshall Wilderness, I would strongly recommend using Rich to help facilitate a wonderful and relaxing time. Our group of 5 spent 3 days laboring through the Bob Marshall Wilderness. Upon meeting Rich, we were fully able to take in the true splendor of the Bob Marshall Wilderness. Matt
