LONG POST
I had a very disappointing experience at the Raleigh South location. I went in on a Saturday morning at 8 AM for an interlock installation and ended up waiting nearly five hours. From the start, things were frustrating — when I originally called to schedule, I was told I could leave my car and go to work, but that was not the case. I had to miss an entire workday, which caused issues with my employer.
After finally leaving with the installation completed, I drove home and attempted my arrival test, but the device would not turn on. When I tried again, not only did the device still not work, but my car wouldn’t start at all. I called customer service and followed their instructions to reset the system, but it made no difference. At that point, my starter began making a strange cranking sound, something it had never done before.
It became clear that something had gone wrong with the installation. I ended up needing a mechanic to come fix the issue by having my starter replaced and I also had to arrange towing and use an Uber just to get to the Durham location.
When I finally went to the Durham office, the technician there confirmed the device had not been installed properly in Raleigh. The difference in service was night and day , the Durham technician was efficient, professional, and genuinely helpful, unlike what I experienced in Raleigh.
This entire process caused me stress, wasted time, and unnecessary hassle that could have been avoided with proper installation and better service.
