Jesse came to my home on an emergency, home was not cooling. He took the time to explain what was going on with pictures and videos. Very transparent. I will monarch home services again.

I wouldn’t suggest working with them, we were having some issues with our unit, which is a newer 410A model. The supervisor Jake came out and looked at it. He reported that our compressor was out and quoted us 20k for a replacement. Now look I’m an equipment tech (not HVAC) and I understand electrical systems and sensed I was being lied to, especially since they said they weren’t able to get parts of or these 410A models which are the NEW models, I can understand if it was an older system but ours is not that old. Had a different tech come out and he was able to diagnose the problem and fix the unit for around 250 dollars. If this is their business model I don’t know how they sleep at night they are either soulless or incompetent. 20k in this economy could wreck a family and send people into a downward spiral.

We had scheduled a maintenance for our Ac unit that was working fine. The technician went up and noticed rat poop some other issues and well long story short the supervisor showed up and used a fear tactic telling us we should shut off our AC unit because the air quality was really bad to breathe all that in supposedly because of the rat poop that was not in the ventilation system by the way. (There was no test done of the quality of my air either so that’s 🐂 ) Well I have a special needs son so that freaked me out which then had me freak out my husband signed the contract 22k well the same day the workers came and ripped out all the ducting and other part of the unit which I don’t even know what else. We still felt very uneasy and like we were lied to so we canceled the contract the following morning. Now since they ripped everything out we have had no Ac for 2 days mind you I have a special needs child. It is absolutely unfair. I told the supervisor my child has muscular dystrophy and he still put profit (his sales man pride) over empathy for a family who is already struggling. This has caused so much stress not something a mother with a special needs child needs. Especially in the middle of a heat wave. Really do your research and look up all the reviews before signing anything my advice to you is to always get a second opinion or third in that case.

I scheduled them for yearly maintenance, BIG MISTAKE! Since they left I’ve been having nothing but problems with my house not cooling down and it’s incredibly HOT! I called them back and Alex proceeded to lie to me and tell me that I have a leak and they now need to charge me thousands of dollars! Don’t trust this company! How dare them! Then I found out they work off commission! I called another company and found out they removed my freon, my house was cooling fine before Monarch came. Don’t trust them!

⚠️ Be aware that these technicians work on commission. I initially called Monarch for a simple yearly maintenance, but was upsold into unnecessary work: ductwork replacement on my newer 2021 home, a yearly membership, and a “small leak” seal on my AC. Altogether, this cost me over $3,400. Since their work, my home has not been cooling properly. I’ve been getting thermostat alerts that I never received before, and all of this started immediately after their service. I called them back twice within two weeks (since I had their membership). Now they’re telling me the leak is “moderate” and will cost over $4,000 to repair. Originally, I was told that if the seal didn’t work, it would be a little over $400 to fix—yet suddenly it’s thousands more. The latest technician even claimed my AC will fail within a week. He removed refrigerant (“Freon”) to test something, said he put it back in, but my AC is performing worse than ever. This has been stressful, costly, and frustrating. Find another company—not worth your time, money, or peace of mind.
