  I attended a banquet recently at the MAC and I could not believe what I saw on my plate. I was given a tiny PIECE of steak that was only 3 bites. No joke. I’m not exaggerating. I was given only 3 bites of steak. In addition, I was given 4 tiny potatoes, 4 bites of vegetables, a very small salad, and a dinner roll. The dessert consisted of 4 bites of crème brûlée. It was utterly ridiculous! I was so hungry by the end of the evening I had to immediately go out and get something to eat. The portions at this place are unbelievably small. I do have a theory as to what may have happened. I think they may have run out of food and simply halved all my portions. (Which means the portions were still incredibly small to begin with.) I did look at others’ plates and, though there still wasn’t much there, it was substantially more than what I received. If that’s the case, that is highly unprofessional. I cannot recommend this place. You will not get your money’s worth.
