We love the Mission Inn. It is so historic and beautiful, and there is always something to see and do at the Inn itself and all around it. It is the perfect holiday spot! Though I love the place, I will say that we were there for 4 days this visit and struggled with the internet the entire time. The concrete walls and age of the building are probably an issue, or it may have been the Inn was full while we were there. If you plan to work on your computer try to ask for a room with better internet access. Also, the street musicians/buskers were so loud! (LOL. Not the hotel's fault.) But, in the end, we do love the hotel. Their holiday decorations are lovely all the way from October through the end of the year. The location is perfect, and the staff are amazing!

My son turned 9 this week and all he wanted for his birthday was a relaxing night at a fancy hotel. He was really looking forward to this and we had a super disappointing time as the room was covered in earwigs and even several roaches. I went to the front desk after an earwig that was in our bed pinched my son asking for a new room, but they told me none were available. I've been trying to get ahold of management for nearly a week now to discuss this and I am incredibly frustrated. He was panicked all night about more bugs crawling on and biting him. It really ruined his birthday present.

Thanks the Mission Inn Restaurant and our server Armando for a Tasty Experience and Excellent Service ! Calamari appetizer was 🔥Filet mignon and Rib eye was cooked to perfection (Compliments to the Chef and kitchen staff ! ) Thanks to the early morning Front desk and Security Jesus, Litea and Julian especially for the Compassion taking care of the Senior Citizen that seemed to have lost her car the night before and had been there for awhile in lobby. I was utterly charmed by this quirky, historic, mission-themed hotel, which brims with discovery around every corner. I was lucky enough to arrive after dusk, greeted by thousands of twinkling lights and into the beautiful lobby. My room was beautiful, with a balcony and chairs overlooking six-story palm trees and the pool. It was no less stunning at sunrise, when I threw open the curtains to see a golden, blue, and lavender sky with plants and trees everywhere. This is not what I imagine when I think of Riverside. The chapels, the Anton Clock, the bells and other artifacts...even the black marble counter at the lobby were so much eye candy. My bed was super comfortable and the pillows were high quality, a must for me.

The Mission Inn is a place I grew up going to and exploring, but my girlfriend and I stayed here as guests for the first time just last week. It was an amazing experience. The property itself is beautiful, unique, and surprising in all the best ways. The amenities are fantastic, and one could really have a wonderful vacation without ever leaving the hotel. Most of all though, the staff working there is absolutely top-notch. From the front desk to servers, bartenders, tour guides (do the tour, it’s well worth it) and others, everyone we encountered was unfailingly polite, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They provided a level of service that I’ve rarely seen from other hotels. I highly recommend staying here if you ever have the chance to.
